Guillem de Besora was a resident of Cervera (Lleida) in 1333.
Gombaldo and Bernardo de Besora, sons of Bernardo de Besora, at the beginning of March 1203 pledged to Guillermo de Pinós the service that he had to provide them for the fief that they had bought from Olaguer de Ferrers and Arnaldo, his son, whose fiefs they were from other Besora.

They were the parents of José María de Besora y de Nin, who inherited Garidells Castle, and married Carmen de Balle y de Rubinat, and Joaquín de Besora y de Nin, who inherited the manor house on Calle de Caballeros from his brother. of Tarragona, Notary Public of Villanueva y Geltrú, who died in 1926.
José Jerónimo de Besora, a native of Barcelona, Doctor of Theology and Philosophy, canon of Lleida in 1621. The council appointed him Trustee on March 30, 1641 for the proclamation of Louis XIII as Count of Barcelona and, on March 19, April 1653, Royal Deputy in the General Parliament. In 1656, he was an ecclesiastical Deputy and President of the Generalitat of Catalonia. He passed away in 1665.
