Juan Bautista Femenia, a native of Vernisa, in the town of Santa Margarita, was born in Palma de Mallorca around 1570, because on October 15, 1590 he wore the habit of the Order of Santo Domingo in the convent of this city, in the one who made his profession on October 17 of the following year. He died in Palma, being prior of the Royal Convent of Santo Domingo, on January 24, 1620.
