This is the inscription to which we alluded in previous lines. The informants continue saying: "On the same canvas, next to the corner makes the said room to the South and West, next to the West there is a coat of arms that has four divisions: Five boilers; below it (of that first barracks with the boilers) a tree on waves and two wolves on the flanks looking at each other; on the left side a severed hand with a grasped flag, and below three hearts with two cauldrons.
From this corner begins a stone fence with its cubes and goes around the whole house and then ends at another corner of the same canvas: it has many stone battlements that end in points, and the cubes have their battlements. Then we entered the said house and from the part that faces north we saw an almost concealed ditch that seemed to us to have been a ditch. Said house stands alone."
Knights from that site later founded the Navamuel homestead in Reinosa. house also very old; that of the place of Castillo de Valdelomar, also belonging to the Valderredible City Council, and that of the place of Orzales, of the Brotherhood of Campo de Yuso (Cantabria).
Others went to Castilla, settling in the town of Lences (Burgos). A branch of Navamuel also lived in Madrid, Toledo and Andalusia.
